My Story

I started playing softball around the age of 4 years old. I had two older sisters playing already, Krystal & Kourtney Costa. Chasing my love for the game, I eventually started playing travel ball in 2004 around the age of 9 years old. I had so many great coaches and learned so much throughout the years playing with organizations such as Campbell's USA Athletics, Lakewood Ladies, and Tony Rico's Worth Firecrackers.

As for college, I couldn't have asked for a better student-athlete experience at The University of Oregon. In 2016, I finished my senior season as a 1st-Team All American with two College World Series Appearances, four Pac-12 Conference Championship Rings, and led the team in batting average. During my sophomore year as a Duck, I was invited to try out and started competing on the Women's National Mexico Softball Team. I competed during summers and traveled the world to represent Mexico in World Cups, the Pan American Games, the Central American Games, and Olympic qualifiers. After graduation, I was drafted by the Texas Charge to play professional softball in the National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) league. When the professional season ended, I started my first coaching position as the Assistant Softball Coach over at Marymount California University. After one year, I decided to accept a Graduate Assistant Coaching opportunity at Concordia University Irvine to pursue my Master's of Coaching & Athletics Administration. In February 2019, I received my M.A. and I came back to the NPF  to compete in my last games with the Cleveland Comets.

With over 20+ years of playing this sport, my goal is to share my knowledge of the game and inspire these young ballers to be the best athlete they can be. #girlpower
